Customer service was so polite! Everything about the poutine was great. The portion, the prices, the amount of cheese curds was very surprising, and the gravy was delicious. We came during lunch hour so the wait was about 30 minutes. But the food came out crispy, fresh and hot.

Hands down, still the best in the city !!! Most chip stands nowadays no longer use real cheese curds from Albert cheese - except for this place. I have visited many chip trucks throughout the surrounding region and almost all trucks substitute the real cheese curds with cheaper, less desirable alternatives. I am assuming it has to do with cost. Congrats to Crispy Chips on keeping its long standing integrity and tradition of high quality ingredients.

Absolutely delicious! Service was very kind and friendly (even drew a lil smiley face on my box :) Large poutine was LOADED with curds and gravy, like their name implies the fries stayed crisp throughout the entire meal, no soggy fries here! Only suggestion would be to double layer the poutine as the bottom fries didn’t have any gravy/cheese. Otherwise, absolutely delicious!

Ok, I've conducted many researches trying to find a good poutine outside of the province of Quebec and this is it, I finally found one. The first poutine in the world out of Quebec that ticks off all the boxes in my book. Everything is there. Bouncy squeeky cheese, a thick sauce that is not trying to steal the show, hand cut fries (on the very crunchy side) and it helps that the staff is super friendly and funny. Prices are really good too! Until further research proves me wrong, world's best poutine outside of Quebec

Was fantastic, awesome portions and very generous for the price compared to other spots and even restaurants. The burger beef patties were massive and they don't skimp out on the cheese for the poutine. Overall thought it was delicious. Just expect to wait, takes a little while for your order but we'll worth it

This is the best poutine spot in Ottawa!! I love the texture of the fries when it’s crispy and after soaking in gravy for a while. The gravy is so delicious and comforting with tons of cheese curds. We also ordered the fried zucchini and chicken sandwich, which is also great!! The portion is big, and it’s definitely worth the money. My only complaint is they close at 6pm, which is so early : D
